Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and business analytical abilities with a desire to primarily focus on software testing. Developers that are interested in performing Quality Assurance work would be a plus.

1. Create test scenarios and implement test cases that will serve as acceptance test criteria for new functionality.

2. Turn test scenarios into automated test cases.

3. Identify gaps in regression test suite, both from a technological and business standpoint.

4. Utilize and extend custom test harnesses for applications.

5. Run test suites and research errors.

6. Develop and standardize the technologies and approaches used by QA.

7. Analyze financial products to calculate accrued interest, dividend, unrealized gain or loss, and other comprehensive calculation.

8. Analyze holding portfolio, profit and loss, trial balance, and other financial reports.


Requirements:
1. Advanced knowledge and experience with current software testing best practices.

2. Intermediate- to expert-level proficiency with automated testing tools, including the ability to program GUI runner tools such as Silk Test using the built-in scripting language.

3. Experience with JUnit and Ruby a definite plus.

4. Knowledge in accounting concept of the financial products.

5. Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge.

6. Intermediate-level programming experience with modern scripting or system languages.

7. Financial industry knowledge.

8. Financial systems knowledge including Wall Street Office for bank loans.

9. Ability to trouble-shoot difficult problems.

10. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

11. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

12. Familiarity with Agile development processes such as Extreme Programming or Scrum.

13. UNIX knowledge, including shell scripting.
